How to download fonts from FFonts.net?
- Find the font you are looking for. You can browse directly the fonts from the left navigation or you can use the search form.
- Typing plus (+) between two search terms will search for first search term AND second (for example “Comic+Bold”).
- Click on "DOWNLOAD LINK" and save the ZIP file on your computer.
How to prepare your font for installation?
- Fonts come as ZIP files, to install them you will need to unzip the ZIP files.
- You can "unzip" it by double-clicking the icon for the font and following the instructions on the screen.
How to install a font on Windows 10?
- 1. Open the Windows Control Panel.
- 2. Select Appearance and Personalization.
- 3. At the bottom, select Fonts.
- 4. To add a font, simply drag the font file into the fonts window.
How to install a font on Windows 7?
There are 2 ways to install fonts in Windows 7.
- Option 1
- You can also install fonts in Windows 7 directly from the downloaded font file after you have unzipped it.
- Navigate to the font file you downloaded and extracted.
- Select Install at the top of the window and wait a moment while the font is installed onto your computer.
- Option 2
- Fonts are stored in the Windows 7 fonts folder.
- Once you have downloaded new fonts, you can install them directly from this folder, as well.
- To access the folder quickly, press Start and select Run or press Windows key+R. Type (or paste) %windir%fonts into the Open box and select OK.
- Navigate to the location where you saved the extracted font.
- Select the file you want to install (if there is more than one file for the font, choose the .ttf, .otf, or .fon file). If you want to install several fonts, press and hold the Ctrl key while selecting the files. Select Copy Fonts To Fonts Folder and choose OK.
How to install a font on Windows?
- Click on the “Download” button, save the font file on your hard disk.
- Under Windows Vista : Select the font files (.ttf, .otf or .fon) then Right-click > Install.
- Under any version of Windows : Place the font files (.ttf, .otf or .fon) into the Fonts folder, usually C:WindowsFonts or C:WINNTFonts (can be reached as well by the Start Menu > Control Panel > Appearance and Themes > Fonts).
- Tip: if you punctually need a font, you don't need to install it. Just double-click on the .ttf file, and while the preview window is opened you can use it in most of the programs you'll launch (apart from a few exceptions like OpenOffice).
How to install a font under Mac OS?
- Click on the “Download Link” button, save the font file on your hard disk.
- Under Mac OS X 10.3 or above (including the FontBook): Double-click the Font file > “Install font” button at the bottom of the preview.
- Under any version of Mac OS X: Put the files into /Library/Fonts (for all users) or into /Users/Your_username/Library/Fonts (for you only).
- Under Mac OS 9 or earlier: Download the font files (.ttf or .otf), then drag the fonts suitcases into the System folder. The system will propose you to add them to the Fonts folder.
How to install a font under Linux?
- Click on the “Download” button, save the font file on your hard disk.
- Copy the font files (.ttf or .otf) to fonts:/// in the File manager.
How to add fonts to Photoshop?
- Adding a font from Adobe Fonts is easy.
- While logged in to Photoshop, click the Add Fonts button in the Character Menu.
- Make sure you are logged in to Creative Cloud and then select the fonts you want to use.
- Click the toggle button to active fonts and those typefaces will appear in Photoshop (and other Adobe software) for immediate use.
How to add fonts to Microsoft Word?
- 1. Download the font file.
- 2. Unzip it.
- 3. Double-click the font file.
- 4. Click Install. It's at the top of the preview window.
- 5. Click Yes if prompted. Since installing a font requires administrator permissions, you may be prompted to confirm this step. If you aren't on an administrator account, you can't install a font.
- 6. Wait for the font to install. This will usually only take a few seconds. Once the font is installed on your computer, it will be accessible by any programs which use system fonts, including Microsoft Word.
Can you upload your own fonts to Google Docs?
- It's not possible to add custom fonts to Google Docs at this time.
- That's because Google Docs uses special web-based fonts (since it's a cloud-based app).
- You can add additional fonts by clicking on the font list and going to "More fonts" at the top. If you find a font in the list that's one you one to use, just click on it to add it to your font list.
Can you upload your own fonts to Google Docs?

How many fonts can you install on your computer?
- You can install as many as you want but we recommend you stick to a maximum 400-500 so your computer can run at its maximum speed. Many computers slow down massively when 1,000 fonts are installed.
Are all the fonts on FFonts free?
- No, on FFonts you will also find commercial fonts.
Notes
- To select more than one font to add, hold down the CTRL key, and then click each of the fonts you want to add.
- You can also drag OpenType, TrueType, Type 1, and raster fonts from another location to add them to the Fonts folder. This works only if the font is not already in the Fonts folder.
- To add fonts from a network drive without using disk space on your computer, clear the Copy fonts to Fonts folder check box in the Add Fonts dialog box. This is available only when you install OpenType, TrueType, or raster fonts using the Install New Font option on the File menu.

- Installing fonts is quick and simple. Once fonts are installed, they are available to your programs.
- The font packages you download from the www.ffonts.net is in compressed .zip files to reduce file size and make downloading faster.
- If you have downloaded a font that is saved in .zip format, you can "unzip" it by double-clicking the icon for the font and following the instructions on the screen.
- Installing more than 1000 fonts onto your computer can cause a reduction in speed. We recommend that you limit yourself to a number less than 1000 (400-500).
